About this deal

The color of the cowl should have probably been a little more purple than blue, and it’s not a perfect likeness of West, but it still looks great from head to toe. The way his domino mask looks like it’s actually sculpted onto the head with the eyes fully sculpted and painted behind it just looks superb. The sculpt here is pretty nice, and like Mattel’s it is a big plastic shell rolling on wheels, and there’s nothing wrong with that. All crimefighters need a place to rest their head, and Batman’s Batcave is no doubt the best in all of popular culture. Batman and Robin have many gadgets in their arsenal, but none more hi-tech and stylish than the Batmobile—ready to power on with the touch of a button.

The paint doesn’t hold up quite as nicely when you punch in really close with the camera, but it looks fine in hand. Mattel’s 66 Batman line combined these familiar comic visuals with the figure stands and that was a good idea, but it’s not like McFarlane could have copied that. Possessing a split personality that veers between two extremes—good and evil—Dent goes by the name of Two-Face. Yes, dear reader, you can clip a POW or a KAPOW to Batman’s wrists to show just how hard he is punching crime in the face.In the series, they were more of a brownish color, but again, minor gripes on an overall fantastic car. The atomic pile is the main focal point of the set– as it should be, because it is both huge and awesome– with the rocks of the cave making up the rest of the segmented backdrop. Scarred by acid into outwardly becoming the monster he once hid away from the world, Two-Face has become a tragic figure and one of Batman’s most unpredictable and dangerous opponents.

His costume just looks so damn on point with some wonderful sculpting flares like the tops of his boots and the fasteners running down the center of his tunic. There is absolutely no question that the Batmobile in general is the coolest car ever created, and George Barris’ iconic and incredibly memorable take for the Sixties television series is perhaps the most beloved of the lot. When the Dynamic Duo find themselves faced with imminent danger, laser beams, magnets, and a parachute jettison button become quite useful. With the push of a Shakespeare bust button, Bruce and Dick are transported into the vast Batcave and transformed into Batman and Robin. For a trip down nostalgia lane, bring your favorite Caped Crusader and Boy Wonder, and any other McFarlane Toys Batman 66 figures in for all the action!
