The V11 did exceptionally well at cleaning up flour from low-pile carpet, delivering one of the best performances we have seen to date. Have an option to exchange for V10 “TotalClean+” but possibly that comes with the same torque drive head – no one at Costco (administrator office via phone) or dyson (phone) could verify that for me. The difference is that the V11 Torque Drive has a more advanced LED screen and includes an extra mini dusting brush. Both the Dyson V10 and Dyson V11 provide excellent performance on carpets, hard floors, and laminate. Unlike the older models in the “V-series” lineup, the V10 and V11 share the same “point and shoot” style for emptying the dust bin.

We have a proportion of our floors that are stone flags, some wooden floors and some tiled floors, the rest is carpeted. I have read and read descriptions and comments on Dyson V11 and V10 and can’t see any mention of maneuverability.

The motor, bin and cyclone are aligned, so air is drawn into the cyclones in a straight line – helping to create powerful Dyson suction.While I still wish the V11 came with a soft roller head, it still does a fantastic job on hard floors even without it. This run-time updates depending on the power mode and tool you’re using, which is a useful addition. Dyson V10 Absolute– Adds Dyson’s Soft Roller head for hard floors, although doesn’t have all the non-motorised tools included with the Animal Extra. Both have strong suction, digital motor, a powered cleaner head, lithium-ion battery, 60 minute maximum run-time (although this is deceiving – more on that later,) and Dyson’s redesigned bin alignment to maximise airflow.

It performed about average at collecting the rice we spread out, getting the single grains and smaller piles without much difficulty.
