This is how the connection process works, once you pair your earbuds to a device, that device is then saved into your earbud’s pairing history memory, allowing them to be paired to that device automatically at times. When the buds are charging, the case will remain on for awhile with lights showing while the case is closed. I get it’s nice to see the charging level while it’s closed but I think it would preserve battery if it didn’t do that The sound is great right out of the box.
