I think you can also do this with SmileBasic on Switch. You can set them to rumble at whatever frequency you want, and yes, to play music if you know what you're doing.

I first noticed music from joycon playing super Mario party. It plays the Mario theme when it’s your turn. The vibrations make the tune. I got my switch with the animal crossing joy cons and I really like those, HOWEVER, I also bought a separate pair of blue and red controllers so I could play multiplayer and the blue one drifts 🥲 I have grey from launch and then the neon yellow. It is hard to explain just HOW bright they are until you see them in person. Pretty brilliant. I love them.The Hori Split Pad Pro or the Pro Controller are great alternatives to the proprietary Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. Do Joy-Cons still drift?
