About this deal

If you are chasing image quality perfection on the PS1, then you should use the beetle PSX core in retroarch with a CRT-royale kurozumi shader. If you change the audio output settings, the system will no longer be able to output audio from multiple output connectors at the same time. For example, if your system is connected to a TV via an HDMI cable and to an audio device via a digital optical cable and you switch to [Optical Digital] under [Audio Output Settings], audio will no longer be output from the TV. To output audio from the TV, switch the setting to [HDMI], or select (Settings) > (Sound Settings) > [Audio Multi-Output] and set the option to [On]. If a device that is not compatible with the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) standard is connected to the system using an HDMI cable, video and/or audio cannot be output from the system.

For reference, here's the pinout I use to connect all my systems to my monitors. A single common pinout means I don't need a seperate monitor cable for each system. The PlayStation AV Multi Out connector has everything you'll ever need for connecting it to the machine of your choice, except RF and Component. in plebs talk: it's that port where you connect your ps1\ps2 to the tv (the ps3 is more common to just use the hdmi than this port)

Insert the plugs on the Wii AV Cable into the input connectors on the TV. Plug the coloured connectors into the following inputs: Once the cables are inserted and the Wii console is powered on, switch your TV to the channel you use to watch movies. Put in a video tape and play the movie. When you see the movie playing, press stop (do not power off the VCR) and proceed to the next step. The idea is that, while in (hardware) PS1 mode, the IOP becomes the main processor (which happens to be an upgraded PS1 one) while the main EE emulates the other PS1 components, but that isn't 100% accurate (see how there are options for upgrading disc speed or smoothing textures)... Proprietary audio/video connector used by Sony on many devices, e.g. Sony TVs, Sony consoles Playstation 1/Psone, Playstation 2/PStwo, PlayStation X/PSX, Playstation 3/PS3. Once the cables are inserted and the Wii is powered on, find the Input Select for the TV to view the game. This is typically found by pressing the TV/Video Button on the television's front panel or remote control. If there is more than one input channel, keep pressing TV/Video until you see the display from the Wii.Settings vary depending on supported formats. For details, refer to the instructions supplied with the audio device. If you select [Linear PCM 2 Ch. 88.2 kHz] or [Linear PCM 2 Ch. 176.4 kHz] in step 5, sound may be intermittent or may not be emitted from some audio devices.

Connect the output from this device to a video upscaler which can scale to 480p (or higher) which can support very large majority of modern equipment. Utilize a proper monitor that can support this signal natively. Generally this includes most CRT equipment, professional broadcast gear, and some specialized modern LED/TFT/VA flat panels.Insert the colored connectors on the Wii AV Cable into the input connectors on the television. Make sure you are plugging the connectors into the holes labeled Input or In. Holes labeled Output or Out will not work. Plug the connectors into the following inputs

Note: supported since 3.50 and not available on SDTV (480i/P & 576i/P) resolutions / output connectors. it's the default playstation video out port, it's like an "all in one" port, its been used in the ps1, ps2, ps3.. Adjust the system's audio output settings. These settings are mainly used when the system is connected to audio devices that support digital audio output, such as AV amplifiers (receivers) for home entertainment systems. Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-T (IEEE 802.3ab) 8P8C connector following TIA/EIA-568 wiring standards with support for Auto MDI-X, which means Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables can be used without the need for special crosscables. Note: The Wii console supports Dolby Pro Logic II for simulated surround sound. If you have a surround sound stereo and wish to use this feature, you'll need to configure the Wii console to use surround sound. Complete these stepsAll SNES units are compatible with the SyncBaby without modification; with exception to the SNES Mini/Jr units, which were some of the last SNES units produced and were a smaller than normal form factor (they were more rounded, and not boxy looking). These specific models will require modification to properly use this device, as they do not natively support RGB output. See the photo below for a comparison. The PlayStation 2 can do VGA through this port, however it is software controlled, and since there aren't enough pins for H+V Sync, it uses Sync-On-Green, which not all monitors support. Note: You must add a 220 uF capacitor in each of the RGB lines (+ towards console) to get an acceptable picture. If you don't, the picture will be too dark and you won't like it!! Linear PCM 2 Ch.] audio is set to be output from all output connectors by default. If you change the audio output settings, audio will be output only from the connectors that were set.
