You may recognize Kenna as the on-air host of creativeLIVE. She’s one of the most beautiful individuals on the inside and out that I’ve ever met. We focused on capturing her joyful spirit, elegant beauty, love of accessories from far away places, and those gorgeous golden eyes!

I included this outtake shot in my selects because not only does she look gorgeous, but it triggers memories of a fun shoot (this was the moment after I had just teased her for gripping the couch for dear life) and shows Karen’s sense of humor about herself. Her playfulness is a key part of her personality.Their second lesson: When it comes to poses and facial expressions, less is more. I have a hard time getting my face to behave when I’m posing for pictures—nude or not—but all three photographers encouraged me to chill. The same goes for posing. Beskin told me that some of the most beautiful boudoir shots are those that capture natural, imperfect moments—because they capture the kind of authentic intimacy you share with your partner on a regular basis. After my initial interviews, I had the chance to model in my very own boudoir shoot. In a particularly fine art boudoir session, the clients are photographed in and made to do unusual poses under unconventional lighting inside the studio. The boudoir photo shoot may also be done in unusual settings outdoors, provided the model is alright with it. Virginie was born in France. She has a ethnically rich education as she spent her all childhood between La Reunion, Madagascar, Kenya and Tanzania as she was leaving in Mayotte. She did some modeling at a young age which gives her a special ability for direction and a great understanding of what's "humanly" possible to do as pose and not. More fascinated by what happened behind the camera, she became by passion a photographer herself. The clients for boudoir photography may also be a couple -- a man and a woman. They will be photographed together to create sensual and intimate images that the couple can treasure and keep.Here at Femme Art Boudoir, we let all women feel that they are gorgeous, sexy, elegant, and beautiful in their own unique ways. I try to make my photos more about the curves of your body, your connection with the viewer and the pose. I love to do this in a way that drives the cave man brain nuts, while still keeping everything artful. My first move was to revisit the photos from my shoot with Ribinik and to recreate some of the poses on my own (see my attempts below, complete with fun names from yours truly). I also drew inspiration from my moodboard, though that mostly helped me get in the nude photo taking mood.
