Some elements in the book have been misinterpreted from the way that Tara likely intended, and I think that some things Tara misunderstood herself. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lives with her husband of 45 years in Clifton, Idaho.However, historians who have studied this attempt to overthrow the prison stated that only one explosion took place. Drawing on the work of Rob Nixon, the author makes fascinating links to show how the bureaucratisation and technocratisation of formal education lends itself to the state-sponsored social reproduction of ‘slow violence’. These continuous, collective and dynamic processes are considered key to educating for the Anthropocene(s). Remembering Gene's and Shawn's abuse towards her, results in Westover terminating her relationship with Charles. LaRee bristles at accusations by others that she would protect her son at the expense of her daughter.

The explanations on essential oils and alternative healing were a bit brief, but relatively relatable. Later as she studied brain chemistry in a psychology class, she began to suspect that her father was bipolar. The author doesn’t have a resentful tone in the book but describes her life and choices and defends them.But I think part of respecting yourself, actually, and your ability to have your own ideas, is respecting other people’s right for the same. As a result of this missing information, people often go into puppy ownership without a clear idea of the true cost of owning a puppy in the first year and throughout its life. And the Westover family stands out for the fact that Tara’s mother, LaRee, decided to publish her own memoir, with the in-your-face title “ Educating,” aimed at telling her side of things.
