Luckily, Dex's next door neighbour Finn is willing and ready to show Avery that her inner Queen has been there the whole time. But there was was too much drama thrown in, it kind of took away from the positive vibes I was getting in this book. After Avery is broken up with DURING her wedding proposal AND on her birthday, she jumps at the chance to house sit for her friend Dex to take some time away and recover.This all leads into my other issue, the bloated overuse of the women against women in Avery’s overall body confidence journey. She’s got a lot going for her - a good job, a long term boyfriend… then in the blink of an eye everything changes. Some parts of this book also made me slightly uncomfortable, especially the scene with Avery, Cass and Finn (I won’t spoil it) but it was completely unnecessary in my opinion and the author added it in for shock factor but in reality it actually did more harm than good. I hated how she was made to feel ‘less’ by literally everyone, eventually this got tiring and felt like a broken record going round and round. Avery was such a fun, multifaceted adult and I loved watching her come out of her shell in different areas.

The book starts with our FMC getting dumped and moving to Las Vegas for the summer to house sit as a favor for a friend/client. The story follows Avery and Finn - Avery is an accomplished brand strategist (which I absolutely loved - hell yes to successful women!This MMC has possession over the FMC and not wanting to share her with anyone, but has no issue getting sexual with Cass.

I will never stop shouting praises for you as long as you keep up your amazing talent for romance and banter. When I recommend this book to others, I would give a trigger warning for possibly a gray area of cheating in the book.A body positive, neighbors-to-lovers romance about a curvaceous beauty who strikes an unlikely bargain with the handsome photographer next door.

I had the honor of receiving this book as an ARC from Kay and I am so lucky to have been able to read this masterpiece.But overall, the idea was good, the spicy scenes were good and I liked the body positive message of the book. But if you are sensitive to any of the tropes listed at the top of my review, or usually shy away from excess OW stuff or cheating of ANY level or kind, then I hope you find this helpful to your reading experience, whether you read or not. I absolutely loved this book how it focused on a very hot attractive male character and gorgeous plus size female character and how he teaches her to love herself !
