About this deal

I think that the brake is a little clunky for my tastes and am worried I am going to break it each time I put my foot on it. That said, it does feel very definite when you put it on! To keep little ones safe and protected Diono Quantum has a four tier canopy providing full coverage whilst still allowing for airflow. No need for extra parasols and sunshades! There is a sun visor, peekaboo window and ventilation panel to suit your environment and your needs.

The handle bar has a foam cover which is nice and soft on your hands, though it might not stay looking nice for as long as plastic. It’s very comfortable! The handle bar has six positions to choose from to accommodate parents of different heights. It’s really easy to adjust the height. The shape of the handle bar is lovely to hold and there are a few different ways that work well for me. The Diono Quantum 2 is a suitable from birth stroller which features a fast and unique easy fold system, it has a one handed folding system that can be operated in two simple & easy steps. This patented “you’re in control” fold, means the Quantum 2 folds at your pace, and the fabric always stays clean. The Quantum 2 seated mode, giving you a secure 5-point harness which also comes with a removable and washable harness pads. The Quantum 2 is also car seat ready and is compatible with a wide variety of car seats (sold separately). The frame weighs 8.3kg and the pram’s full overall weight depends on which seats and attachments you choose. Its basket looks small but is spacious, opening out to store much more than you’d realise. We even managed to carry three bags of Aldi shopping and a box containing a slow cooker. The catch is that it’s not cheap. Far from it, but this is the pram/pushchair we keep returning to time and time again, so we highly recommend. Disclosure: We were sent the Quantum Classic for the purpose of this review. The handlebar offers a good grip, but its unusual oval design means you can’t hook bags over it, plus there’s no storage space under the seat. You get a removable zipped bag instead, which although neat doesn’t offer as much flexibility as a basket. The Stokke Xplory X is pricey, but there’s no doubt you’re getting a premium product for your money. Quantum is car seat compatible with some strollers such as the; Cybex, Inglesina Zippy Strollers, etc. Adapters are included making it the perfect travel system for every journey. It moves smoothly despite the small plastic wheels and the frame only weighs 8.1kg so it can be pushed with one hand (the carrycot adds an extra 4kg). German firm Cybex is a leading manufacturer of luxury baby gear and the Priam is one of its flagship products. Part-pram, part-stroller, the Cybex Priam is suitable from birth up to four years of age or 17kg and combines an all-wheel suspension with large wheels. These combine to offer one of the smoothest drives on a pram or pushchair we’ve ever used. It’s suitable from birth when using the seat as a carry cot. The carry cot then transforms into a seat for older babies and toddlers by simply clipping together a few clips. This is so clever and means you don’t need to store many parts at all. It also means you can swap between the carry cot mode and seat mode very easily if you have two young children who take turns using the Quantum.

You can easily recline the seat by using the handle on the top. This is so much easier than any other pushchair I’ve come across. Usually you have to adjust straps and try to get them even to recline the seat but you just lift the handle and recline the seat to where you want it. It so smooth and my toddler doesn’t wake up when I do it. She likes to sit up straight when she’s awake and if she falls asleep, I pull down the hood and recline the seat so that she has a relaxed and private place to nap.

I so so wish I’d had this when Wills was a baby, it is so big that it would have lasted him well over the 6 months that other prams seem to manage. We do use it in this mode sometimes though if we know he is going to sleep for a while – just makes for a cosier sleep I think. You can get lie-flat pushchairs that recline to 180 degrees, but most first-time parents will opt for a carrycot for a number of reasons. the best 3 kids stroller complete review! Pram mode

It’s recommended newborn babies lie completely flat to promote healthy spine and lung development. The NHS advises using a lie-flat pram until babies are able to sit by themselves, which is usually around the six-month mark. Sitting them upright can also restrict their airways and prevent them from breathing properly. What’s the difference between a lie-flat pushchair and a carrycot? Be adventure ready with the Quantum 2 luxury multi-mode stroller, inspired by parents to provide everyday magic and designed with simplicity. We have lovingly engineered an easy folding experience, a clever 'one step' brake, and a versatile stroller, which is suitable from birth. A truly distinctive design, created to make your life both simple and easy every day. It feels almost identical in weight and manouverability when it’s empty compared to when you’re pushing your little one and it offers a wide range of personalisation options, from Lite wheels, a LUX seat for added comfort and even the option to swap the front wheels out for skis. Yes, really. I try to appreciate the school run on days when it’s easy. When it’s not raining, it’s not too cold and we have time to walk at any pace that suits us all and can stop and look at snails, flowers and fallen leaves. ?????☀️ It’s a nice time that we get together without the distractions of technology, toys, work and chores. When it’s raining, we rush though! ?☔️ I think tomorrow might be one if those days judging by the current weather situation! ?? But it does need a firm push. And if, for whatever reason, you hang a nappy bag on the end of your buggy, you may find it harder to reach. But most importantly the brake works well.
