About this deal

If you read this book expecting a similar work to fellow sas who dares wins star ant Middleton then you will be disappointed as this is a different type of book. Interesting insight into how resilient and flexible the special forces become through training and experience. To be mindful of what’s going on and to understand yours and other people’s emotions at that moment. I ran into a ditch and I just wanted to be back at home as a ten-year-old boy again, watching Top Of The Pops. It is a book where now I've read it I wouldn't read it again though but was definitely worth the read.

Instead, the addition of personal stories - that are then represented in other life situations we may be more familiar with - you are taken more deeply into this book. The first bit I read was still a bit too ‘Then we jumped out the helicopters and we’re all hard as nails. Having accepted I was on the verge of suicide, I worked with friends to find a therapist who was suited to my personality and issues.

The book had a good flow between going back to past missions and how it affected him and was relevant to his present day.

However, instead of accepting my position and looking for ways to improve it, I pretended everything was OK. In 2019, Fox and Ollerton went on to launch the fitness and wellbeing app Battle Ready 360 – which focuses on personalised plans for individuals looking to balance mind, body and nutrition.

He is a man who has experienced a lot in life – composing through extreme jobs in his British Army roles as well as a simple guy from England living his own life – Jason has a lot to say. In each episode, Fox interviews people who have experienced a variety of adventures in their life, touching on their background, and the mental and physical challenges they have faced. However, in a way it was refreshing, as Foxy was brutally honest and opened up about his struggles and achievements. You’d bid for a piece of work, go through that big process with proposals and everything thrown into the mix.I do not know if this is true and am not accusing him of being that way, just pointing out how the book makes him sound. It's been a mind-blowing few months expeditioning across Southern Africa, traversing some of the most remote, iconic and wild locations. Her passion is for storytelling, seeking out stories that immerse her in unique cultures and wild places. The changes didn’t take place overnight, though, and there was always plenty of hard work ahead – there still is – but gradually, more and more positivity arrived in my life. To start with - I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, the wording felt complicated and I wondered if I’d keep up but past the first chapter it settled into itself.

To admit all this and honestly lay out his struggles to overcome the PTSD takes great courage on Mr.I’d come across foxy like maybe a lot of others by watching SAS Who Dares Wins and always love his brutal straight talking attitude and the little clips of his experiences and personal thoughts. In this final episode of the series, Foxy talks to 'The Iceman' Wim Hof on how he has harnessed the power of the cold to overcome major barriers in life with the 'Wim Hof Method'. It started really slow, was hard to get used to Foxy's narrating, but after few quick chapters and no distractions this book just gets better and better. Okay, there is a decent book in here somewhere and, perhaps, a decent editor would have helped bring it about.
