About this deal

Every male in this series is a full on alpha and possessive but Elijah definitely tops them all so far. I am not a huge fan of mafia anything because as a genre anything mafia related is notorious for its degrading treatment of women as such I would expect the male characters to be deeply flawed. This is swiftly followed by “I’m sorry I’ve upset you but you have to understand this is your life now. Alsooo,,despite being crushed under a beam and being in a burning building for extremely long time, the heroine doesn't have a single burn like yeah sure that's possible. She leads an active lifestyle and enjoys many different cuisines, often referring to herself as a garlic bread connoisseur.

When by some "miracle" the tracker gets ON and they know their location only 3 men including our MMC go to the desired location without ever thinking about the possibility,it may be a trap. I hate the way Snow felt about herself at times but then could totally relate to her too but thank goodness she had Elijah to build her up. I found the story lacking in suspense and it really pissed me off that Snow and Wynter know their safety is at risk and yet they leave the safety of the house.Fuck this LITERAL RAPE PORN where he ON PAGE ASSAULTS HER after kidnapping her and repeatedly saying he owns her and will take whatever he wants and she no longer has any free will, fuck every account that recommended it on Instagram and fuck every single five star review on here. However in the grand scheme of female representation in mafia fiction I do want to give the author props for making Snow stand up to her family. What I really enjoyed seeing was the FMC standing up for herself and telling her protective brothers off. which makes no sense because they were going at it like bunny rabbits well before here comes the bride.

Montana is a lover of all living creatures, except for spiders, and her love for her pets is never ending. They have alot of ups and downs in there relationship and out of there relationship with someone trying to hurt Snow and hurt there family business. She doesn't have any large gaps of time or make the reader feel like they are missing out on something that could have happened. Elijah knew what he wanted he wants a queen to rule beside him not behind him, there relationship is rocky at first since she doesn't trust him and doesn't love the idea of being away from her family plus hes OTT for her lol. This book was not a dark romance, I have read a lot of dark romances and liked them but this book plot has so many holes, the heroine was a door mat portrayed as someone with a spine. The only good part is, she fights him A LITTLE more than Emerson did in the first book and that felt a bit better but it should have been more explored and no point does she confront him for what he actually did and not caring a second about her feelings. I would give it the extra star if Elijah could be made to understand that what he did was non consensual but my biggest issue with this story is that it doesn’t wrap up the action part of the story!
