About this deal

Characters [ edit ] Main [ edit ] Ryōhei Arisu ( 有栖 良平, Arisu Ryōhei ) / Alice Voiced by: Yoshimasa Hosoya [3] (Japanese); Jeremy Gee [4] (English) Portrayed by: Kento Yamazaki A video-game obsessed third year high school student (24-year-old in the Netflix series) who "does not fit in with his family". Suddenly, a colorful array of fireworks set off in the sky, and an enormous blinding firework renders them unconscious.

A low numbered card is supposed to be relatively simple to survive, such as a locked room mystery, a 10 card far more difficult. He has a fantastic eye for action, knowing how to frame certain shots for best effect, like going to the character’s point of view when they’re hiding from the killer, or zooming out for set pieces so you can see characters doing daring things like jumping between floors. Please note that some countries may charge the recipient duties on the 'import' of parcels from time-to-time. Another high point arrives, the great car chase that occurs in the first episode of season 2 of the streaming series is the final scene of this volume. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It is being published in a two-in-one volume edition, with the first volume published on March 15, 2022. An action-packed thriller and source of the hit Netflix drama where the only way to survive is to play the game! Unlike the drama of the streaming series, it’s played in the book as one of the future breaks of tension for laughs. The characters in the TV series are a few years older and Arisu is not so vocal about his desire to get away from reality, which makes the Alice in Wonderland inspiration better clarified in the source material than the TV series that adapts it.

The trio get drunk and play games together, but Karube becomes worried and urges the pair to take things seriously. For those new to manga you read from the last page to the first page, top to bottom but from right to left instead of left to right.

The Queen of Hearts is revealed, although her identity is not really a surprise (that would have happened had one of the “friends” of Arisu turned out to be a Queen). The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal.

And apparently, when I'm ready, there's also a Netflix series based on "Alice" that I can check out. This intersects with the last scene of season one of the streaming series, and the first episode of season 2. It was first serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Sunday S from November 2010 to March 2015, and later moved to Weekly Shōnen Sunday, where it ran from April 2015 to March 2016. Over the course of that year, four volumes were released, each of which collect the equivalent of two Japanese volumes.

High schooler Ryohei Arisu fights a constant struggle against crushing anxiety over his grades, social standing, and potential for future success. The trio finds themselves back at the bar covered in dust, discovering that the city has become a barren wasteland.
