Rubin is also the author of "Compassion and Self-Hate", a book that I believe everyone should read, and likewise for "The Angry Book". However, this book has a lot of good ideas, is easy reading, and Rubin comes up with a few gems that you might not think of.Each soft book has beautiful illustrations to look at, a story to tell, fabrics to stroke and amusing activ. A brilliant picture book about anger with clever rhymes, a repeated refrain and rib-ticklingly funny illustrations which are instantly appealing. With a love of books, videogames, animals, art and of course Strawberries there's always something on my mind I just love to discuss. I want to close this chapter by saying that blocking anger makes us even greater "don't-make-wavers" and emotional isolationists, thus completing a very destructive vicious cycle.

These people feel that any show of anger -- even minor irritation -- will alienate the other fellow.Even more sadly, blocking off anger ultimately destroys the very thing the "nice guy" wants -- namely love. It’s visually appealing with lots to look at as well as recognising the importance of feeling our feelings. Ed Vere’s adorable illustration and sense of humour tells a wonderful story about little Frog overcoming his own anger and trying to think about others.
