Even if I did manage to hit a rock, I could usually angle the bolt a bit and drive it right to the ground with very little effort. You know what its like, hammering away at the cold hard ground in even the best weather conditions doesn't quite equate to sitting in your sun chair at the start to your holiday, non-alcoholic cocktail in hand, admiring the rolling hill sides of your new home for the next week (or 2). Then once the tent is up, the last thing you need to discover is that your pegs struggle to get into the ground. Make sure the tents fabric loop is pushed up fully towards the top of the peg before you screw it down.
