About this deal

Review: Blur were always the posh, private school answer to the more streetwise cool of Oasis during the heyday of Brit pop during the mid to late 90s. The newer copy I got just now is worse than the first one because it has mild surface noise and the record is warped. Although Blur had long been recognised as one of the premier bands responsible for the reinvigoration of Britpop in the 1990s, it is 1994's Parklife that truly provided the template for the entire movement.

With Damon Albarn finally listening to Graham Coxon's advice for once, the album is an experimental, eclectic, fascinating torrent of inspiration. la mia preferita è senza dubbio "you're so great", scritta e cantata da Graham Coxon, che con il suo aspetto da nerd genialode, e lo è davvero!

Then bright young things looking to shake things up after years of electronic rave dominance, the fact so much emphasis was placed on these two bands makes for an incomplete story of those times, while their individual output was not quite polar but certainly harder to compare than headlines suggested. Originally released in 1994, as a Japan-only CD, The Special Collector’s Edition will be a 2LP pressed on coloured vinyl, featuring a collection of B-sides taken from the of their first three studio albums singles from the albums Leisure, Modern Life Is Rubbish and Parklife. Similar to Blur - Blur but this copy DOES mention Warner Music Company on the back cover and label copyright/publishing credits. Review: One of the most successful British bands of the last 3 decades, Blur are back with their first new album in over 8 years: The Ballad of Darren. The album was produced by James Ford and recorded in Studio 13, London and Devon, and is the sound of a band at the very top of their game. Accompanying their 2023 comeback tour, reactivated Britpop titans Blur announce their ninth studio album ‘The Ballad Of Darren’, also their first new music in eight years.
